Cutting East is produced by Tractor Films in partnership with The East End Film Festival, funded by The Tower Hamlets Films Office
Cutting East was established in December 2004 with the aim to showcase and promote both existing and emerging talent based in East London. Since its conception it has showcased over two hundred films of all genres reaching audiences in excess of a thousand people. We run this event between three and four times a year at The Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club - Link to site www.workersplaytime.net This event is a great way to keep your finger on the pulse of independent short film production. Film makers can enter their film into the ‘Open Deck’, session on the night judged by an industry panel with the chance of winning serious prizes as well as find out about other film related opportunities & events.
